This is an all original San Jose built 1965 Mustang Fastback which has recently been brought out of climate controlled storage after 33 years! The car lived its entire life in California before being stored in Denver; therefore the body panels, floor and frame are all original and near perfect. The odometer is showing a believed correct 55 thousand miles. It a “C” code 289 engine with automatic, power steering and disk brakes. The prior owner liberated the car from its long storage last fall. The engine was upgraded with an aluminum intake and four barrel, Cobra engine dress up kit, GT exhaust system, deluxe steering wheel and a few interior trim pieces. MACC has gone through all of the mechanicals on this car and it drives straight and true and its original condition should be attractive to someone who wishes to do their own re-paint and customization. You could also consider sporting around in this survivor as the attention getter it is. We find so few fastbacks in original condition that we expect someone to see this as their 2014 project.
